Tubular furnace for sintering and heat treatment of metals/alloys

The heating furnace plays an important role in the industrial production cycle as it is the most important heating equipment. Some of the researchers have used a tubular furnace to sintering/heat-treating the compact. They have used an electric tubular furnace, which is defined as a heating system in the tube as it is an electric heating system used to perform heat treatment operation and sintering of the compact in powder metallurgy.

These furnaces consist of a tubular cavity, which is enclosed by thermally isolated spindles. Temperatures of the tubular volume increase slowly and performed the required operation.

Besides, usually tube turnouts have one (or more), thermocouple-controlled heating cavity, exposing materials to various temperatures for different time frames. Heating effect unable for further process and obtained a higher temperature zone.

Typical uses for tube furnaces include specimens or instruments purifying, drying, hardening, or aging. A tubular furnace can also be used for sintering, sublimation, and tempering purposes, among other applications.

For thermocouple calibration or catalyst testing, a tubular furnace has been used in a laboratory and also it is used widely in different types of heat treatment processes such as hardening, aging, and tempering of the metals or alloys.

Some of the researchers have studied the furnace and they have used the heating element to transfer heat and various kinds of heating processes can be performed in the furnace. They have used this type of heating process for the heat treatment of the metals/alloys .

The tube heating furnace system originated as a heap-type furnace, based on the steamer-type kettle concept. The tube bundles were used as an endothermal surface and in the furnace was the elbow of each pipeline. Under the tube set, the burner was mounted, each tube was heated unevenly, burning and fire at the elbow was simple. Then, the structure of the tubing oven was adapted to be a pure convective oven, but the heating phenomenon was still uneven. A tubular heating furnace with a radiation chamber and a convection chamber such as a box furnace was designed to solve this problem by people .
