Bottom Loading Furnaces

Bottom Loading furnaces are designed for ease of sample loading and unloading, as well as great uniform thermal distribution inside the chamber. Bottom loading furnaces are ideal to achieve a variety of heating-cooling cycles without sacrificing temperature uniformity or product quality.

These furnaces are best for calcining, firing and sintering oxide ceramic parts (i.e., alumina, zirconia), technical ceramics, co-fired substrate materials, capacitors, filters, thermistors and ferrites.

Bottom Loading Furnaces

Controlled Atmosphere

The controlled atmosphere furnace is a perfect alternative to tube furnaces when larger chamber volumes are needed, and deep vacuum is not essential. Capable of holding vacuum down to 1 Torr, as well as operating with inert and reactive gases, these furnaces are ideal for heat treatment and various laboratory processes. Across International controlled atmosphere furnaces all feature multiple gas inlets and outlets, stainless steel ball valves, and built-in flow control. Common operating atmospheres include Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Neon, Argon, and Helium, among others.

Rotary & Tilting Furnaces

Rotary & Tilting furnaces are similar in design to a split tube furnace but have the additional ability for the tube to rotate and tilt. Because the sample is continuously tumbling, as it rotates with the tube, much more uniformity is observed in drying and coating applications. Across International furnaces further increase this efficiency by offering multi-zone heating options, utilizing Mitsubishi alumna fiber for the refractory linings, as well as using Eurotherm temperature controllers.
