Rotary Furnaces

Rotary furnaces are similar in design to a split tube furnace but have the additional ability for the tube to rotate and tilt. Because the sample is continuously tumbling, as it rotates with the tube, much more uniformity is observed in drying and coating applications. Across International furnaces further increase this efficiency by offering multi-zone heating options, utilizing Mitsubishi alumna fiber for the refractory linings, as well as using Eurotherm temperature controllers. Popular applications include materials production, drying and aging, as well as oxidation processes.
