High-quality Borosilicate Glass

The standard 5-liter glass reactor is made of high-quality Borosilicate 3.3 glass. This grade of glass provides excellent chemical compatibility and physical properties, allowing for operation across a wide range of applications from -120C to +200C.

High-Torque Stirring Motor

To undertake the tasks of mixing ingredients, the 5-liter reactor features a low-speed, high-torque, stirring motor. This overhead stirring motor provides safe and efficient high-torque mixing, while still operating at relatively low speeds. The stirring motor also features adjustable height settings to that the impeller height can be adjusted for optimized performance.

PEEK Chemical Resistant Seal/Bearing

The Ai 5-liter glass reactor features a PEEK bearing/seal kit in order to maintain vacuum depth, while the impeller is stirring. This bearing kit provides a high level of chemical compatibility along with increased durability and performance.

 Zero Dead-Space Discharge Valve

On the bottom of the 5-liter reactor, there is a PTFE drain port, Ideal for draining the reactor contents
