Edwards range of small dry scroll pumps is expanding with the introduction of the compact mXDS3 and mXDS3s.


The new mXDS3 dry scroll pump delivers 3m3h-1 pumping speed together with an ultimate pressure of 0.1 mbar making it well suited for backing turbomolecular pumps. mXDS3 is the standard option supplied with no inlet valve fitted.


mXDS3s comes factory fitted with an inlet valve featuring delay opening. It is also supplied with an exhaust silencer. Both offer the same vacuum performance and feature an IEC connector for main supply and an on/off switch for easy control.

This compact dry pump offers flexibility to the system designer and end user alike with a wide range of accessories available to
choose from to meet your configuration requirements.

Flexibility

  • Compact and lightweight the mXDS3 weighs in at just under 8kg and occupies minimal footprint saving valuable space in your environment.
  • For flexibility the pump can be mounted horizontally (typically) or vertically.
  • For convenient connection the inlet can be orientated vertically or horizontally or replaced with a push fit alternative available as an accessory.
  • The pump features a handle for moving and positioning the pump.
  • The IEC connector for mains power and local on/off switch enables easy connection and simple control.

 

Performance
