This 4" extra deep, octagonal mortar and pestle are made from polished, high purity agate. They are handcrafted from the finest translucent, blue-gray natural Brazilian agate stone. They are resistant to acids (except HF) and solvents and are ideal for use with unknown chemical substances including samples for ultra-red, infrared, and x-ray fluorescence.
